I play tennis with the same group of ladies every week and after we play we usually go to lunch.  At lunch they are all putting their accessories back on and I notice their watches every time.  I have never invested more than $50 in a watch and after looking at their watches I thought it might be time to do just that.  I looked at all of their watches one day and asked what kind they each had.  The one that I liked the most was a Montblanc.
